Each year we start out the open season with the spring walleye run. The Wolf River has some of the best walleye fishing in WI. The best thing about this event is that the shore anglers have just as good, if not better, chance of catching lots of big walleyes.
We have rented the entire Red Banks resort. We have all the cabins and pretty much take the place over. The bar and restaurant is a friendly place to gather to share stories of the days catch, and talk to the regulars who wait for our return every year. They usually have fun activities such as a meat raffle or a fun tournament. In the past we have had Easter Bonnet contests, Easter egg hunts, pot lucks, fish fries or what ever we come up with. We are still figuring it out for this year.
Each cabin has two bedrooms. One had a double bed and the other has two twins. There is a couch and I think it pulls out into a bed.
