Our meet up’s are informal gathers that are generated by members. This one is to fish walleye in Winneconne WI. This is a shore fishing event and no boat is needed. The walleyes are headed downstream and it is a popular area to fish. The Winneconne Bridge is popular with anglers who fish from on top of the bridge. There is a park next to the bridge that is owned by the Wolf River Resort.
Some members are staying at the resort and others will cone in for the day to fish. This meet up is being organized by our member Dodie, and her and Carol are providing brats and potato salad. Be at the park and be ready to catch fish. Wolf River Resorts does charge $5 to fish from the park so check in at their bait shop and pay the fee. Fishing tackle and bait are available there.
