If you want to learn to troll for Walleye, you may as well learn on one of the best places to fish walleye in the Midwest. Green Bay! You will be using top of the line equipment and you will be fishing out of a Crestliner Raptor complete with Humminbird Electronics, and a Minn-Kota trolling motor. You will be fishing with St Croix Eyecon trolling rods and using Off Shore Tackle planer boards.
You will learn how to determine how deep the baits will run using the Precision Trolling App. Targeting the correct spot in the water column is critical for success. You will learn how to troll with crank baits as well as crawler harnesses. Finding fish, fishing structure, setting lines, driving the boat, fishing with planer boards and even how to net the fish. These two days of classes are right before the annual Small Mouth Bass Clinic held in Sturgeon Bay WI.
Note that our policy is to release all fish over 22 inches unless there is a special catch that you want to mount.
