Join WI Women Fish as we fish the famous Presidential waters of the Bois Brule. Bring your waders, kayak, and/or canoe for a chance to tangle with anadromous Steelhead, Chinook, Browns, and Coho, as well as wild Brook Trout in the upper reaches of the Brule. Bring your spinning or fly fishing gear!
WWF will be staying at the Brule River Motel and Campground. Rates are based on two people per room and are $72/night for two double beds and $67/night for one queen, with additional people $7/night. Campsites are $25/night, but cannot be reserved. All rooms are supplied with coffee pots and coffee. Some rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, but cannot be guaranteed. Reservations must be made directly with the motel at 715.372.4815. The address of the motel is 13844 East Highway 2, Brule, WI 54820. Make your reservations early because this is a popular area for weddings and rooms fill quickly. There are three nearby restaurants in the town of Brule, as well as several supper clubs just a bit further down the road.
Don’t have a canoe? No worries! Brule Canoe Rental is right across the street and can be reached at 715.372.4983. We will fish all day on Saturday and there is an optional fishing day on Sunday.
