Sonia with a nice river ringer

The back waters of the Mississippi are a great place to find giant perch and other pan fish. Of course with fishing the river, walleyes are common and you just never know what may be on the other end of the line. One of our long time members, Sonia, has explored this year her entire life. Her and her husband Jeff have decided to help us out and lead us to some fishing spots.

Knowing the area is important, as currents, and ever changing conditions, make it an area that needs to be respected. They spend a lot of time there and their years of experience is invaluable.

The access point will be determined, but be prepared to have to walk to gain access. ATV traffic may be possible but even access sites can be tricky. We are currently researching lodging options and will post that information when we have it dialed in. More detailed will be posted and ice updates will be posted on the members only page. This event will have a limited capacity. More info to follow.
