You may have heard about the excellent fishing on Lake Petenwell. We have fished there in the past and plan on returning in 2022. We found a service that will shuttle people out right to a proven spot along the channel edges of the river. They charge $25 to haul you and all your gear out to the spot. 
We will target Walleye, Crappie and you may even catch a musky or a huge catfish. There are some perch and white bass around and the great thing about fishing there is you never know what you will catch.
The shuttle departs at 7:30 and brings you back to the lot at 4:30. Plan on packing a lunch and enjoying a beautiful winter day on the ice. Those that have their own transportation are welcome to join in the day of fishing.
You will need to bring your own gear. A limited amount of loaner gear is available thru the club. Registration opens soon. Registration required only if you need transportation.
