16th Annual Fish Camp

Date/Time

Thu, Oct 6, 2022 - Sun, Oct 9, 2022
12:00 am

Fish Camp is our biggest event of the year! We arrive on Thursday and the event ends on Sunday, but many stay Sunday night as well. We have secured 3 resorts that are all together on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. We have A-frames, a large lodge, and multiple cabins.

Thursday, we get things set up and have a seminar on how to fish the flowage. You do NOT want to miss this information to start your weekend.

Over the course of the weekend, several classes will be offered. The exact classes will be finalized to meet the needs of the gals attending. Many members bring their boats and a few fishing boats are available to rent at Donner’s Bay Resort. Call soon to hold one if you wish.

Friday night we will have opening ceremonies and special guest speakers.

On Saturday, we mix in plenty of time for fishing, add in a few classes, and then have a group meal at night. We will have the Master Angler Award ceremonies on Saturday night and declare Angler of the Year!

On Sunday, we have a “just for fun” tournament, present club awards, and wrap up the official activities. Check back as we will be announcing the winner of this year’s logo contest! Registration is now open!

2022 Fish Camp Registration

Fish Camp is a long weekend of fishing, classes, networking and having fun. This is where we hold our annual awards ceremony. The fee includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night lodging, a goodie bag (hopefully), a group meal, an event shirt and more. Price for the event will be $230. If you want a Sunday night lodging, it will be an additional $35 and if you would like a pass to fish on a rented pontoon, that will be an additional fee. You are welcome to gather a few of your non boat owning friends and rent your own if you wish. 60 tickets will be sold, and another 10 opened up later once all the instructors and volunteers have their spots secured. We are looking for raffle prizes. Some people are donating hand crafted items, items from their fishing and non fishing businesses. Gift certificates, guide trips, small and large items accepted as well as small items for the goodie bags.
