SUMMARY:2nd Annual Border Battle. WI vs MN
DESCRIPTION:2nd Annual Border Battle\nWisconsin Women Fish vs. Women Ang
 lers of Minnesota\nMarch 26th\, 2016 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.\nCost $18 (
Pay the barge fee there)\n\nThe battle will take place on the Clement
Barge again this year. Clements Barge is located on the Mississippi River
in Genoa\, WI. There will be awards and prizes for the biggest fish\, firs
t place walleye/sauger\, northern and perch. Last but not least the border
trophy! The purpose of the battle is to make new friends\, learn new fish
ing techniques and have a friendly competition with our neighboring women'
s fishing club.\n\nHere are some helpful hints for the first time barge
fisherwomen. The cost is $18 per person for all day. The barge will open
at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 6:00 p.m. Because it is bordering waters yo
u can use either a Minnesota or Wisconsin fishing license.\n\nThere is a f
lag pole on shore to let the boat know that there is a pick up to take out
to the barge. There is a café available on the barge however you are wel
come to bring your own food and beverage. Bring your own chair (there is s
ome available on the barge but they are limited).\n\nYou will need to brin
g your own pole\, tackle and bait. Please keep in mind when packing that t
here are a lot of steep steps and a long walk from where you park to where
you get on the boat.  TRAVEL LIGHT! This trip is not handicap accessible
due to the stairs you must go down to get to the river. Anglers are encou
raged to use proper fish handling techniques and are asked to consider cat
ch and release of the large female fish that will be full of eggs at this
time.\n\n\n\nThe barge can get very crowded. The early bird gets the best
spots and the locals will be in line prior to 7:00 am to get first crack a
t their spot. We will have check in people on the boat so look for the tab
le close to the office on the barge.\n\nInformation sharing\, car pooling\
, tips and tactics can be shared on the event page on facebook. Good luck
to both teams. No pre registration required for WI Women Fish. Must be a m
ember of WI Women Fish or the Women Anglers of Minnesota. Winner will
take possession of the border battle trophy. Master Angler Fish are a poss
 ibility.\n\n&nbsp\;

SUMMARY:Spring Walleye Trip
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis has to be one of our favorite events. Walleye fishing
in the the Wolf River is some of the best in the midwest.  We have rented
the entire Rend Banks  resort and we are ready to fish. One of the good
things about this trip\, is the shore fishing is excellent. We have severa
l large piers that we have access to and we are dialed into the methods th
at catch fish there.\n\n\nFor boat owners\, there is a launch on sight and
some pier parking is available. You should have some experience boating i
n current\, and the current conditions at the time of our event will not b
e known until just prior to us getting there. Some times it’s not to bad
and other years its raging. Something to check on for sure.\n\nThis year
we have rented a pontoon boat and one of our best boat Captains\, “ Chri
s” will be driving it. Spots on that boat are available to purchase for
a small fee. Fee goes to the boat rental. We also reserved a pontoon boat
and professional guide “ Bob”\, who can take out two shifts of gals\,
6 at time. Bob is one of the most experienced guides on that water and has
owned Red Banks resort for over 30 year. Plus he is super fun!\n\nSeveral
of our members already have their groups together and are waiting for thi
s event to open. I am saving some space for  new people who do not know a
nyone yet. Last year we had several first time event goers and now they ar
e like one of the family.\n\nIf you want to come and fish for the day\,
there is a $10  daily fee to fish off the piers.  You can pay that at th
e bar when you get there.\n\n If you want to attend this event\, email me
at icefishher@gmail.com. If you are already a member of WI Women Fish\, p
lease follow the members only facebook page and chat with other gals who a
re going. To buy a ticket for the boat\, click here. Must be a member of
WI Women Fish to attend and buy a boat ticket. Any questions go to the con
tact us section of the web site.\n\n\n

how time flies. Ten years ago\, twenty of us were shore fishing from Buck
horn State park at the very first Fish Camp. That event still holds specia
l memories for those of us that were there.\n\n[caption id="attachment_166

/caption]\n\nFast forward 10 years\, and we are still sharing the passion
for fishing with as many Women as we can. This year Fish Camp will be held
on The Turtle Flambeau Scenic Wilderness Waters Area. With over 200 miles
of shoreline\, and over 12000 acres of water\, there will be plenty of pl
aces to find some fish. Kayaks and small boats can find back bays\, island
s and stump fields. The larger boats try to stay within the river channels
and to avoid the area’s with stumps and hazards. The water level fluctu
ates so at times hazards are visible and other times under the surface of
the stained water.\n\nOur accommodations will include cabins at Donner's B
ay Resort. Right next door we have several A frame cabins right on the wa
ter. Our group meeting place with be at Cedar Lodge. The lodge is a huge l
og cabin that has 11 bedrooms\, a giant kitchen\, and plenty of space to h
old our group activities. Large screen T.V’s\, a huge bar\, and an open
area for our entertainment and meetings. We will have access to several re
sorts boats to use and some motor rentals are available. We also rented a
pontoon boat and hope to get everyone out on the water.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOn y
our way to Fish Camp\, you most likely will pass through Mercer WI\, locat
ed on Hwy 51 in Northern WI. We have some fish camp sponsors in town\, and
they are holding a raffle with great prize packages. You must stop in the
business to enter the drawing. The first is Turtle River Trading Company\
, which is a great bait shop that carries all the bait and tackle you will
need. They are located at 5227 N US Highway 51.  Next is the Wampam Shop
. This has to be one of the coolest gift stores ever and a great place to
pick up a gift for people of all ages. They are located at 5257 N US Highw
ay 51 Mercer\, WI.  The Subway restaurant is also participating. You coul
d win a footlong sub! They do offer to go box lunches if requested. Subway
  is at 5116 US-51\, Mercer\, WI 54547.\n\n \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbs
p\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAlthough Fish Camp does not offici
ally start until Friday\, we are having an early bird event to help get us
dialed into the bite. Dale Anderson\, from Mercer Muskies and More guide
service will be giving a seminar on Thursday night at 7 p.m. Several of us
will be there early to attend this seminar and will be sharing the inform
ation with those that can not make it.\n\nFish Camp will officially start
at 6 p.m. on Friday Oct\, 7th. You can arrive anytime on on Friday or\, co
me a day early. Early birds will be helping with set up and hopefully get
some fishing in. We start out Fish Camp with the opening ceremonies follow
ed by a guest speaker.  Sally Sumption from Fishing Hot Spots maps will t
each us how to get the most out of the maps in our quests to find fish. Af
ter Sally’s presentation\, the ones who attended the seminar with Dale A
nderson will share the information on fishing the Turtle Flambeau. If you
need help rigging your rod\, experienced club members will give you a hand
.\n\nSaturday morning is open and I am sure most people will be anxious to
get out onto the water and fish. We will have a a few 50 minute seminar s
egments that start at noon. All seminars will be held in the main cabin co
mmon area. Seminars are optional. Some gals would rather fish. Do what you
want. Ask for what you need.\n\nSeminar Schedule:\n\n10:00 - Intro to Fl

SUMMARY:Women’s Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHave you ever gone to Girl Scout Camp\, o
r 4 -H Camp? Me neither so we are making our own! Join us for a week in th
e U.P. of Michigan. WI Women Fish took a trip to the UP several years ago
and they have been asking to go back ever since. We have rented an entire
4-H camp and it sits right on the water. Located on Sawyer Lake in Dickins
on County\, this 250 acre lake has great fishing\, including big blue gill
s and crappies\, nice bass and northern pike. Walleye have been planted in
the lake several years ago but they are not yet abundant.\n\nRight near t
his Camp is the beautiful Michigammee River. We plan on taking a day and k
ayaking this wonderful stretch that is close to the camp. Last time we cau
ght bass\, pike and walleye while kayak fishing this route. Deer and wildl
ife are plentiful and if you are lucky\, you will see a moose.\n\nThe Summ
er Camp will be good for kayak’s\, canoes\, big and small boats. The sho
re fishing is ok near the camp and there are several nearby lakes that pro
duce bass and pan fish close to shore. There are camp canoes to use on the
lake.\n\nThe big water nearby\, that boat owners will want to fish\, is t
he Michigamme Reservoir or Peavy Falls Reservoir. Both of these waters are
large and undeveloped\, which makes for beautiful scenery. There are a to
n of other small lakes near by that would be great to kayak or canoe. Ther
e is also a nice swimming beach right out front and several other lakes cl
ose by if you want to try something new.\n\nIn addition to fishing\, swimm
ing\, kayaking and nightly fires\, we have several other activities planne
 d. We are having a cribbage tournament\, a day of golf\, a felt painting c
lass\, sporting clays\, human Foosball and dinner at Silver Lake Resort an
d a few trips to experience the local establishments such as Taco Tuesday
and a Friday Fish fry.\n\nThe camp has two large dorm rooms with bunks. Su
re we would prefer private rooms and queen size beds but what the heck\, t
he price is right. I plan on reserving one dorm room for people that snore
. This can be disturbing to the rest of the group so don’t feel bad if y
ou get booted to the snoring side. That being said this is a great place t
o bring ear plugs and run a fan for white noise. You will have to bring yo
ur own sleeping bag\, pillow and if you are like me\, a little more paddin
g for that bunk.\n\nHere are some pictures of the venue.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\n[gallery ids="1777\,1776\,1775\,1774\,1773\,1772\,1771\,1770"]\n\n
Tentative schedule\n\nSunday - arrive after 3:00 p.m. Welcome dinner provi
ded at orientation at 4 p.m. Get settled in. Launch your boats and fish Sa
wyer Lake. Gather around the firepit for your first night at camp.\n\nMond
ay -  Bigger boats can stay on Sawyer Lake and get to know the local fish
. Kayaker’s can fish Sawyer or plan on going to Edey lake which is right
across the street. At 4.p.m. we will head over the the Sportsman’a club
and see what sporting clays are all about. We will have burgers and brats
afterwards. The Sportsman’s  club is right on Edey Lake so if you vent
ured over there\, you will be at the right place.\n\nTuesday - Lets take
the boats to  Peavey Pond. Peavy Pond is\npart of The Wilderness Shores
Area\, this lake (2400 acres) is best for fishing walleye\, perch\, northe
rn muskellunge\,and northern pike. The water averages 25' with some deeper
ares around. Lots of under water humps\, cliffs\, and islands for structu
re. Easy access from hard gravel road with a concrete ramp.\n\nFor those o
 f you with out a boat\, you can kayak\, canoe\, or rent a pontoon.  You c
an launch at the Michi - Aho resort.  The river runs right into Peavy Po
nd where the bigger boats will be. We previously did a trip there and it w
as beautiful. We have a pontoon on hold for the day. After you register an
d you want a spot on the pontoon\, let me know. ( rental fee additional ch
arge). Michi - Aho does rent kayaks and canoes and will provide a shuttle
service for up to 8.\n\nSInce this is Tuesday\, lets spot for Taco Tuesday
at the Ace of Clubs on the way back to camp.\n\nWednesday - The motor boa
ts will go to the Michigamee and spend a day exporing the back waters. The
Kayak anglers will go to one of our favorite stretches of the Michigamme
River. We all meet back at camp and head over to Silver Lake Resort. There
will be enjoy a game of human foosball and a dinner right at on the water
s edge.\n\nThursday -  Optional Golf at George Young Championship Golf .
The non golfers can have a free day and stay on Sawyer Lake\, explore othe
r near by lakes\, or revisit a place you went earlier in the week. Return
back to camp and have a Yooper pasty for dinner.\n\nFriday - Free day. May
be return to the favorite spot you fished this week. Otherwise enjoy Sawye
r Lake and the last day with your fellow campers.  Friday night fish fry
with all the fish we have caught during the week.\n\nSaturday - Pack up an
d head for home.\n\nRegistration is now open. Click here to register.\n\n&

of the more heavily fished lakes in the state.[4] Many fishermen consider

engage on the members only page  to find out what the current ice conditi

SUMMARY:Big Water Walleye Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The goal of this event is to help members get more confident fi
shing on big water. We will be trolling and jigging for walleye. Boat cont
rol\, proper jigging techniques\, and trolling for walleyes will all be pa
rt of the lesson plan. During this event\, we help to pair up boaters and
non boaters to find the best skill sharing possible. Some boaters are fair
ly new to fishing big water and we look for experienced non boaters to pai
r them with. This is not a first come first serve like the rest of our eve
nts are. We try to give as much support as we can to the boaters who are n
ew to this type of fishing. We always try to take as many people as we can
\, but we are limited due the number of boaters that sign up. Registration
for boaters will open first\, and we then have an idea how many non boate
rs we will be able to take. We do have a discount code at the hotel we are
using. That and more info can be found on the members only page.\n\nYou s
hould have a deep V boat at least 16 feet long.  We try to find some shel
ters area's to fish if it get to windy but the reality is that is it big w
ater and it can get ugly quick. We provide on the water support and we do
everything we can to make this a safe and educational event.  We have cau
ght a lot of fish at this event over the years and it is some people's fav
 orite.\n\n[gravityform id="81" title="true" description="true"]\n\n[gravit

SUMMARY:Summer Camp 2025
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nSummer Camp is back. You asked for it and we made i
t happen.\n\nThis week long summer event is so much fun. We stay in an old
4H camp that has two wings of bunks. Each person gets two sets of bunks w
hich allows some privacy and storage of your personal items. The top bunks
are never used except to put stuff on. We house approx 12 gals in each wi
ng\, even though the capacity is much more.\n\nEach day we have a new adve
nture. We pick different lakes to fish. This year our goal is to have gals
earn a MI Master Angler Fish and submit that to the state of MI to receiv
e a Master Angler Patch. We have scouted some really nice lakes. Some are
new and some we have fished before.\nThe facility has a large common area/
dining room.  There is a bathroom with showers in both wings. There is a
large kitchen and some of the meals are planned ahead to keep things simp
le. \n\nWhen we started coming here\, it needed a lot of work. A volunteer
staff has been working on improving the facility and they have been doing
a great job. We used to be the only ones who rented it\, but now it is ge
tting quite popular. Some other activities that are possible are kayaking
fishing the Michigamme River\, Sporting Clays\, and we usually have a craf
t day ready in case we have a crappy weather day.\n\nIn previous years\, m
any members brought their boats and we would divide the group up and there
were spots for all those that wanted to go. Much of the planning around t
his depends on how many women bring their boats so much of the details are
worked out based on the needs of the group. We hope to open registration
soon and there will be limited spots.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

your own rod and electronics if you wish but travel light because all gea

rod holders and the "dead stick" method is used. Super flexible rod are us

ready for some fun.\n\n Plan on spending most of the day outside. There
will be a warming shack available but most of the day is spent outside.\n\

SUMMARY:Trolling Clinic
DESCRIPTION:For the past several years we have held our trolling clinic on
Green Bay. We helped many of our boaters get some experience on bigger wat

ill open it up to those with smaller boats and no prior big water experien
ce. Whether you are a boat owner\, or a first mate\, we want to help you b
ecome more proficient on the water.  Do you hope to get an invite on your
buddies boat for a big trip to say\, Lake Erie for mega walleye?.Well you
better be an asset or you won't get the call. We can help you perfect you
r skills to run your own spread\, or be the lead first mate. \n\nThis year
's event will be held on Castle Rock Lake. We will be holding this a Buckh
orn State Park where there is lots of camping available. We plan to use a
park shelter for a classroom portion of the event and spend the rest of th
e time on the water.  We do have some loaner gear available.  This area
has good shore fishing opportunities close by for before or after class or
for family members who may want to camp with you.\n\nWhat you will learn
will include\; rigging your boat for trolling\, what gear you need to trol
l\, the concept of covering water. How to know where you bait is running i
n the water column. How to deal with a fish on. Netting\, Must have baits
and techniques to troll for a variety of species. Hooking on and removing
planer boards. And so much more.\n\nYou can attend as a boater\, or as a n

SUMMARY:Oak Island Takeover!
DESCRIPTION:Fishing Oak Island in the NW Angle of MN is quite an adventure.
It is the northernmost point in the US and there you will find the tradem
ark sign marking the spot. The fishing is fantastic. Walley\, pike\, musky
and a variety of species are available to target. If you want to fish ent
irely in MN that is an option. If we decide to take a day and fish the Can
adian waters\, we can do that also. The entire area is magnificent and the
natural beauty\, wildlife\, and fishing is hard to beat. \n\nWe have  ne
arly the entire resort reserved. We are here to give you support as you em
bark upon this incredible adventure. The Northwest Angle of Minnesota is l
ocated approximately 65 miles from either Warroad or Roseau\, Minnesota. T
his 1 to 2 hour scenic drive takes you through the international boundary
of the United States and Canada to Young’s Bay which is located at the N
orthwest Angle. Young’s Bay Resort offers convenient parking and boat la
unching facilities.  You can get a launch pass and park in the parking lo
t while you are on the island. Launch fee $10. Parking $6 per day for vehi
cle and trailer\, $3 per day for vehicle only. From Youngs Bay to Oak Isla
nd is approximately 6 miles by boat. \n\nBorder Crossing Information
\n
\nBREAKING NEWS - Some gals that do not want to cross the border are takin
g the charter boat over. There is room for you!!\n\nCanada requires a vali
d driver's license and birth certificate\, or a passport for proof of iden
tity and citizenship. The US requires a valid passport.\n\nGenerally peopl
e who bring boats drive the short trek through Canada and reenter the USA.
\n\nIf you plan to drive\, it is approximately a 40 miles drive through Ca
nada\, and re-entering back into the U.S. up at the Angle. There is one sm
all Canadian town on the way\, which has a store to pick up any items that
were left behind or were not allowed to be brought into Canada. \n\nTrav
elers crossing the border at Warroad or Roseau will be stopped briefly to
get cleared to enter Canada by the CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) bo
rder station. Here you and all passengers will need a Passport. Once you r
e-enter the United States up at the NW Angle\, you will need to check in w
ith the U.S. Customs. This is an unmanned border\, but you still need to c
heck in with U.S. Customs as you entered the country from another country
(Canada). You can proceed to one of the three check in stations at the Ang
le or do as most travelers do\, check in at one of the many resorts that h
ave a designated iPad once you arrive. This check in normally takes less t
han 5 minutes from start to finish.\n\nThe Resort: \n\nWe have most of the
Oak Island resort reserved. The  resort is located on the northwest side
of Oak Island\, Minnesota on one of the approximately 14\,500 islands in
Lake of the Woods. There our cabins await. Our boats will be parked on the
docks and that will be our assigned spot for our stay. A 50 foot cord sho
uld be plenty to keep your boat all charged up as there are plenty of outl
ets to choose from. We will have helpers transport our gear to our cabins.
The cabins have carried styles and hold a variety of people based on the
layout. Here is a link to the cabin descriptions. https://oakislandresort.
com/lodge-cabins-lake-of-the-woods/ We will be having in-depth conversatio
ns on the members only page with those that are attending. \n\nThe Fishin
g:\n\nFishing the Northwest Angle of Minnesota offers premier walleye acti
on\, big pike and huge musky. The fishing is not complicated and often jig
ging with minnows or trolling crankbaits along rocky points and islands in
12–31 feet of water. Colors that are effective include  gold\, glow\,
or pink lures. Targeting wind blown points or targeting underwater reefs/f
lats can be the trick. We will provide you with up to date tips and locati
ons and we will be fishing in groups. \n\nWhat to bring:\n\n Food &amp\
; Drink\n Camera (Please email your full-size fishing pictures to us)\n
 	 Clothes\, rain gear &amp\; hat\n Personal medications\n Personal toi
letries\n First Aid Kit\n Hand soap\n Ziploc bags (if bagging your o
 wn fish)\n Matches &amp\; lighters\n Bug spray – 11% DEET or better\
 n Mosquito Coils / Citronella Candles\n Sun tan lotion – 15 SPF or b
 etter (25 to 35 recommended)\n Fishing Gear\n Stringer\n Landing Net
 \n Fillet knife\n Measuring tape &amp\; scale\n Depth Finder\n Com
pass\n Flashlight (Waterproof is best)\n\nFood:\n\nTwice we will be fed
by the resort and there is a possibility of a pig roast. I am sure we will
be eating lots of fish and cabins can decide if they want to share meals.
A short walk to Sunset resort will provide a full service bar and restaur
ant. Plan on bringing most of your food for the week. \n\nOptions besides
driving across the border:\n\nSome choose to travel to the Angle across t
he lake which keeps you in Minnesota and avoids crossing the border. When
you travel across the lake and stay in Minnesota\, you have not entered Ca
nada and do not need to clear customs upon entering the NW Angle. There ar
e a number of options.\n\nBoat to the Angle aboard a charter boat. If you
prefer to avoid customs\, boating across the lake on a charter boat is an
 option.\n\nLaunch Services. Northwest Angle
 Island Passenger Service of
fers launch transportation to the resort from Young’s Bay and is availab
le on a first come first serve basis.\n\nLaunch Services-South Shore. Ford
’s Transport Services offers on demand transportation to Oak Island  re
sort from Rocky Point. Call 218-783-7356 or 218-689-1533 for details.\n\nL
ake of the Woods Passenger Service
offers on demand transportation to o
ur resort from Sportsman’s Lodge on Rainy River. Call 218-634-1342 or 21
8-556-9444 for details.\n\nAnother option is via the Lake of the Woods Pas
senger Service https://www.lowpassenger.com/ is one option. These large bo
ats will transport you and your gear to your favorite NW Angle resort and
transport you back south when your stay at the Angle is complete.\n\nBoat
to the Angle on your own. As long as you have a large boat that can handle
big water and the experience on big water\, boating across the lake\, abo
ut 40 miles across\, is a viable option. Lake of the Woods is big water. E
ven the most experienced captain with the right gear closely watches the w
eather\, wind\, waves\, etc.\, making good decisions about when it is safe
for travel and when it is not. Having some extra time is always advantage
ous in the event you have to leave the next day when there is more favorab
le weather.\n\nFly to the Angle! Whether it is summer or winter\, flying a
cross the lake is a quick 15 minute flight. If you own a small float plane
and are a pilot\, many of our resorts are used to catering to float plane
s in the open water months.  There is actually a seaplane base at Sunset
 Lodge on Oak Island (https://skyvector.com/airport/4MN2/Oak-Seaplane%20Bas
e).\n\nAdditional information is available from these links:\n\nLake of th
 e Woods Tourism https://lakeofthewoodsmn.com/northwest-angle/\n\nBorder in
formation for visitors to Canada https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage
 /ivc-rnc-eng.html\n\nOak Island Resort https://oakislandresort.com/\n\nIf
you have read this far and are interested\, more information will be share
d via the members only event page. This trip is a rare opportunity and wil
l not be repeated in the near future. There is no “I’ll go next time
 ”.  \n\nEVENT IS SOLD OUT

SUMMARY:20th Annual Fish Camp!
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n 20TH ANNUAL FISH CAMP! \nTwenty years\, ladies
. TWENTY YEARS OF FISH CAMP!\n\nThis is our biggest event of the year\, an
 d for our 20th anniversary\, we’re putting together a weekend that celeb
rates exactly what WI Women Fish has always been about:\n\nLearning. Confi
dence. Independence. Mentoring. Friendship. And\, of course… FISHING!\n\
nOur theme this year is “It’s So Much More Than Fishing”—and if yo
u’ve ever been to Fish Camp\, you know exactly what we mean. Fish Camp i
 s a long weekend packed with hands-on classes\, fishing\, mentoring\, netw
orking\, support\, laughter\, new friendships and probably a little bit of
chaos. And this year\, we’re putting a BIG emphasis on building skills
that help you become a more knowledgeable\, confident and independent angl
er and boater.\n\n Some of the classes we’re working on include:\n\n S
o You Want to Buy a Boat?\nWhat should you look for? What do you actually
need? What questions should you ask?\n\n Trailer Maintenance\nLearn the b
asics of keeping your trailer safe and ready to roll.\n\n Prop Removal\,
Installation &amp\; Maintenance\nBecause knowing how to take your own prop
off is a pretty darn empowering feeling.\n\n How to Use Your Trolling Mo
tor\nMore than just ON and OFF! Learn how to actually use its features to
help you fish.\n\n Dial In Your Electronics\nStop staring at that expensi
ve screen wondering what the heck you’re looking at.\n\n Rod &amp\; Ree
l Selection\nLearn what makes different rods and reels better suited for d
 ifferent techniques.\n\n Trailer Backing\nYES. We’re doing it. And YES\
, you can learn it.\n\n How to Drive a Boat\nBuild confidence behind the
 wheel in a supportive environment.\n\n Fishing Skill-Specific Classes\n\n
We’ll also have classes designed to help you become a better angler and
add new techniques to your fishing toolbox.\n\nAnd that’s just the begin
ning! Whether you’ve been fishing for 40 years or bought your first fish
ing rod last week\, Fish Camp is for you. Members of ALL skill levels ar
e encouraged to attend.\n\nDon’t have a boat? That’s okay! We usuall
y have plenty of boats and will work to find spots for members who don’t
have one. You DO need to bring your own fishing gear.\n\nWHAT’S INCLUDE
D?\n\nYour main Fish Camp ticket includes:\n\n Three nights of lodging\n
20th Annual Fish Camp event shirt\n An awesome goodie bag\n A weekend
FULL of classes\n Group meal Saturday night\n Fun tournament Sunday morn
ing\n And three days surrounded by some pretty incredible women\n\nWe’l
l kick everything off Thursday evening at 6PM with opening ceremonies. W
e ask everyone to arrive and register by 5PM so you have time to get set
tled into your room before the fun begins.\n\nAnd because this is our 20TH
YEAR\, you can bet we’re planning a few extra special things along the
way.  Some women come to Fish Camp to learn how to fish. Some come becaus
e they want to learn to back up their own trailer\, run their own boat\, u
nderstand their electronics or become more independent on the water. Some
come because they need a weekend with women who understand them. And some
come thinking they’re just going fishing…and leave realizing it’s so
  much more than fishing.\n\n[gravityform id="106" title="true" description
 ="true" ajax="true"]\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
