Our Annual Border Battle is a friendly competition with our fishing sisters from Women Anglers of Minnesota. It is an opportunity for both groups to make new friends and learn new fishing techniques. We gather on a fishing barge on the Mississippi River, that separates WI and MN. Either license will work on border waters, as long as you aren’t touching land. We have a fun contest and the two groups battle it out. WI Women Fish held the champion title for the first FIVE years, but WAM clinched a victory last year. We are hoping to bring the trophy back home!
