2024 Border Battle
WI Women Fish vs. Women Anglers of Minnesota
Our Border Battle is an intense, but friendly competition with our fishing sisters from Women Anglers of Minnesota. It is an opportunity for both groups to make new friends and learn new fishing techniques. We gather on a fishing barge on the Mississippi River, that separates WI and MN. Either license will work on border waters, but you must hold a Wisconsin license if you plan to fish from shore. We have a fun contest and the two groups battle it out. WI Women Fish held the champion title for the first FIVE years. WAM clinched a victory in 2021, but we were able to bring the trophy back home in 2022. 2020 and 2023 were the only years the event wasn’t held. We are fired up and ready to defend our title!
