Last year we traveled to the UP of Michigan to check out a lake called Lake Gogebic. It was well worth the trip. It took us a day or two but we found them. And they were HUGE. So huge those perch are called “teeter pigs” because if you stand them on their bellies, they don’t teeter over. This year, Fellow Clam Ice Team Pro Guy Sibley is helping us out. Guy is the “go to” person on Lake Gogebic trophy perch. If you NEED to be on fish to film a TV show, they call Guy. He has a complete staff of guys catering to customers every need. Last year, several of us earned our master angler perch and we hope to repeat that.
We will be having a Fishing for Trophy Perch seminar on Friday Night while we enjoy a Fish Fry at a local pub. Learn from the pro’s the secrets to catching these teeter pigs. Location of seminar will be given to all who register.
We are staying at Timbers Resort. They treated us so well last year, we are going back for sure. Several women got their Master Angler perch on this trip.
Last year we learned just how rough the conditions can be, I wore myself out drilling 400 holes looking for Fish. This year we are having Guy help us out. You can come early and stay an extra day if you want.
